Welcome to Tinkers Cross Farm.

We are located in Fordingbridge, on the edge of The New Forest, Hampshire. The farm is owned and run by us, Helen & Jason, with our daughter Elizabeth and two black Labradors.

We appreciate how lucky we are, being able to look out and see our animals, being immediately on hand in case of emergency and able to deal with situations as they arise. This ensures are animals are extremely well looked after and live in a safe and secure environment.

With the current “Horse Meat” scandal more and more individuals are turning to local farms like ours to purchase their meat. People feel it is important to know where their produce has come from, how it has been treated and that it says “exactly what it is in the tin!!”

We have always been really pleased and proud with the excellent feedback we receive on our pork sausages and believe that by treating our animals with respect and dignity this is reflected in the fabulous taste.

Our concept is very simple; the animals are able to demonstrate their natural behaviours and this is reflected in the superb flavours. We have immense satisfaction in delivering exceptionally great tasting pork, bacon and sausages from our pigs and wonderful fresh eggs from our hens and ducks in a Free Range environment.

Spring is in the air though it doesn’t always feel like it but our Drakes and Cockerels have decided that it’s that time of year and taking full advantage of running amuck with the girls, the incubators are already full with fertile eggs and pictures have been posted on Facebook. Will keep updating them so you can see the progress….

Booking have already begun for Our “Hatching Experiences”, these are great for Children to get hands on with the growth of chicks inside of the eggs and the responsibility of looking after live animals. If you would like information, please contact Helen on 01425 650 836.

Our piglets are being reserved really quickly and we are sorry if we have to disappoint anyone, please register your interest as soon as you can, we have a number of people who register a year in advance to make sure they get one of our “Old Spots”
